Hi Everyone,
If you want a cheap place because you are never really there, this might work for you. Otherwise, if you are looking to have a home where friends and come over and you can relax, look elsewhere. I realized very quickly after moving in that I would not be able to have people over until I moved. My friends are a pretty quiet bunch, and every time they came over, the neighbors complained. They said they could hear every word, and I believed them, because I could hear my neighbors on a daily basis. Also, the appliances were terrible. The stove burned eveything, there was no microwave, and the dishwasher left dish washing soap on everything. Management was also very unhelpful... well, the couple times I could actually get ahold of them. When you close an office whenever you want to, it makes it pretty hard to catch anyone that can actually help you.
Living here was a mistake. If I could stand outside their office with a sign warning anyone who looked at this place, I would.

Terrible, horrible experience. Management is awful. The construction of the place is awful. The whole experience was awful.
Cons: No parking, unhelpful management, bad neighbors, high school band plays at 6am or so (the high school is down the street, but you can hear it perfectly), bugs, cheap appliances, HIGH electric bills due to poor construction (went from paying $100 a month in same sized apartment to $250 a month, and it never got cold, called management and made no difference).
Pros: Lol, yeah right.

Run... don't walk. The closest thing I could relate this apartment complex to is the tale of Hansel and Gretal. They find the cottage made of candy, and it seems incredible, and before they know it a witch is about to eat them.
This place completely charmed me when I first saw it. It had beautiful trees, great grass, beautiful apartments, and friendly management... and then I signed on. Everything went dowhill from there. The apartments look decent but are built cheaper than anything I have ever seen before. You can literally hear every person that talks and walks by. There is no privacy. The walls are so unbelievably thin, and the blinds are easy to see through. This explains why we had a peeping tom get arrested on property... he didn't even have to try to see a person from every angle. I have lived in apartments for a long time, but this was the first one I actually had to put up currents in. The light from outside also streams through those cheap blinds, so it is terribly bright all the time.
And then there is the management. Watch out folks! They are so sweet, until you sign on the dotted line. Then, they know that you have to pay a ton of money to get out, and they don't really care how they treat you. There is only one person in the management office most of the time, and their priority is getting new people in, not taking care of the people who are stuck living there. You can call and call, but no one ever picks up. I would say out of 50 or so calls, they answered about 2. So then, you are forced to talk to them directly. Okay, so not so bad, if someone was EVER in the office. Most of the time, you walk down and find the door locked and no one there. They are typically out showing people the property. So, you wait, somewhere between a half hour and an hour, for someone to come back. Usually, several other residents end up waiting outside with you. Ugh! And then if you have any complaints, they just nod and smile, but they are "unable" to help you in any way.
Recently, someone new came and bought half the property, the condo side. They made it so that the apartment people can no longer use the broken down gym (which looks okay when you look in it, but TRY OUT THE MACHINES). One half of the complex (the side the new people didn't buy) started literally having its grass turn brown. It was quite the sight to see half of it taken care of, and the other half not.
Lately, it also seems as if people have been flooding out like rats escaping a drowning ship. When I first moved in, it seemed full of clean, nice people. Now, all that seems left are quite a few empty apartments, and some scary people moving in. I honestly think they are getting desperate for anyone to move in, so they are taking anyone that works... no matter how scary they are. I feel unbelievably sorry for anyone who actually bought a condo here, because they are stuck with poor quality and who knows what for neighbors. I have done my part. I have cautioned all of you out there, so if you ignore this warning and say "well, it seems like it is good enough for the price," don't be surprised at what you get stuck with.
My point is... don't get suckered in. They have a cheap price, but it comes at incredible cost.
